Stating out blogging can be very daunting for a newbie.
I began writing and keeping a diary of my travels sometime last year, until it later escalated into an almost full-time obsession.
Once I made the decision to publish my travel blog online, I was opened to a whole new world of technology that I previously knew absolutely nothing about…
So where to start?
After lots of research and speaking to other online bloggers, it was slightly intimidating to realise that alongside the effort of having to build a website, there was a lot more involved than I had first accounted for. I needed to put in the time and effort to build up an understanding of how to offer something different to competitors, gain followers and grow a relevant and loyal audience. All whilst working on content and new ideas!
All until I was introduced to http://www.fuzia.com…
Fuzia is a site specifically targeted to women all over the world, focusing on bringing us all together to share ideas, dreams and creativity all in one place.
Upon discovering Fuzia it became my platform to get my blog out there, whilst still working on bits and pieces behind the scenes for my own website. With a following of over 3.5 million, it was the perfect stepping stone to launch myself into the world of online blogging.

Sign up is quick and easy and from there you can explore the site with ease. Posting blog updates are simple and there are even different options for text posts, image uploads, videos, etc.
The thing I have enjoyed most about using Fuzia so far, is how supportive the other women are. We have all become really involved in each others work/hobbies and it feels amazing to be able to gain inspiration and motivation from other like-minded women. I’m also now connected with a lot of my Fuzia friends via other social media platforms too, which is another little cute perk of meeting women on the site.
Fuzia regularly host competitions, again bringing everyone together and offering the opportunity for hard work to be recognised be others. They also run ‘Fuziaite Of The Month’ which is awarded to the woman with maximum participation in the sites activities throughout the month.
I am still pretty new to Fuzia and although I’m now at a stage where I have my own website up and running, I am still active on Fuzia daily and post all of my blog updates both on my own site and on my Fuzia profile, to maximise my audience.
My next step within blogging/writing and social media is to begin to study at degree level. Once again Fuzia provides a great platform for gaining experience within the industry, offering lots of internship opportunities that I would love to get involved with in the near future.
